Shrewsbury Life Drawing sessions commence on the 9th of January and continue until the 27th of March when we will break for Easter. An ever widening team of models will pose for us during this term including several new to life modelling. Also during this term we shall be celebrating what will be our 10th year of continuous operation. Whether you are new to these sessions or have been an attender many years ago do make contact and join in with the celebration. And, as if that wasn't enough, additional new things are planned many of which have emerged during the informal 'after-life' sessions that take place in the Nag's Head pub after the Tuesday evening drawing sessions. Do come along and join in.
Life drawing workshops provide artists, both novice and experienced, with an opportunity to draw from the life model in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. A wide range of experienced models, both male and female, pose for the workshops and a creative and experimental approach is encouraged. With the exception of Special Drawing Events there is no need to book in or pre-pay for any sessions. Simply turn up and pay on the day. Very occasionally a tutored session is arranged, particularly for the Special Events, but artists should be aware that these are most usually untutored sessions.
Tuesday evenings
7pm to 9pm at ‘The Hive', Shrewsbury. £8 each.
Monday afternoons
2pm to 4pm at The English Bridge Workshop, Shrewsbury. £6 each.
